Film crew shoots scenes at Parkers Crossroads

HENDERSON COUNTY, Tenn. — Parts of West Tennessee could soon be seen on the silver screen.

A film crew was in Henderson County on Monday at Parkers Crossroads to shoot scenes for the upcoming film “Shining Spirit.”

The film is about two rival families who make moonshine. We spoke to the film’s leading actress.

“We thought, you know, there’s different places we could do this, but we have kids here in the school system. Why not support where we live and bring acting to us?” said Angel Kerecz, who stars in the film along with serving as a writer and producer.
