UT Martin named in ‘best bang for buck’ list of Southern colleges

MARTIN, Tenn. — The University of Tennessee at Martin makes the list of the top 20 in 2016, according to the “Washington Monthly” publication.

UT Martin is number 17 in the “Best Bang for the Buck Southern Colleges” category.

It’s the top-ranked Tennessee institution ahead of Tennessee Technological University, Vanderbilt and Austin Peay State University.

“Washington Monthly” is known for ranking institutions based on price, graduation rates and post-grad earnings.
