West Tennessee Healthcare cuts ribbon on Lexington facility
JACKSON, Tenn. — After two years of planning, West Tennessee Healthcare is ready to help those in need in Lexington.
A ribbon-cutting was held Tuesday in honor of the new Lexington Medical Center on Highway 412.
The 17,000-square-foot outpatient facility will provide primary care along with specialized treatment long-needed in the area, according to health care officials.
“We’ve incorporated pediatric therapy, which is really hard to find in the region, have a specially designed area just for pediatrics, and I think the area will really use it a lot,” said Dr. Lisa Piercy, executive vice president of West Tennessee Healthcare.
The center will also bring in the help of Pathways Behavioral Health Services and Sports Plus Rehab Centers, offering physical therapy and behavioral health services.
