Woman charged in Humboldt hit-and-run
HUMBOLDT, Tenn. — Police have charged a woman in a Tuesday night hit-and-run that left a person injured in a parking lot.
Bryanna Renee Leggett, 21, of Alamo turned herself in to police and is charged with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and failure to report an accident with bodily injury, according to a release from the Humboldt Police Department.
Her bond has not been set.
Officers responded just before 10 p.m. Tuesday where a person had been run over and left in the parking lot of a business on East End Drive, according to police.
The victim was reportedly transported to a Jackson hospital with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.
Police say Leggett will be taken to the Gibson County Criminal Complex where her bond will be set.
