Police seek public’s help in Friday morning shooting

JACKSON, Tenn. –An early morning shooting sends one person to the hospital.

Police say it happened around 4:00 a.m. Friday in the area of 1580 North Royal in east Jackson.

Investigators say they got word from a local hospital about the shooting.

They say the victim is a black male who was being treated at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital for injuries received from a gun shot. Police say his injuries are not life threatening.
