Truck crashes into Dresden restaurant

DRESDEN, Tenn.– First responders said a Nissan truck crashed into the side of a restaurant Saturday morning.

Brad Copley shared photos with WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News. He said the truck was traveling west on highway 22 before leaving the roadway.

The truck hit two power poles and then crashed into the corner of the La Cabana Mexican Restaurant, causing extensive damage, according to Copley. 

Signs for two other businesses were also damaged, witnesses said.

Copley said the driver was taken to the hospital. There’s no word on possible injuries at this time.

The crash is still under investigation, according to Copley.
