Labor Day weekend sees an increase in travelers
JACKSON, Tenn. — As the Labor Day weekend comes to an end, travelers can expect to see many traveling home Monday.
According to a survey of more than 2,000 people from TripAdvisor, travel was up 10 percent this Labor Day weekend compared to last year with 60 percent of travelers driving to their destinations.
Although the roadways may be busy on Monday, the survey says many people are choosing to extend their holiday as 14 percent plan to return home on Tuesday.
