West Tenn. Business College gives to local elementary for ‘Read a Book Day’

JACKSON, Tenn. — Students at one elementary school were encouraged to open a book on Tuesday for National Read a Book Day.

West Tennessee Business College took a collection of books to Isaac Lane Elementary School in east Jackson.

Employees say they want to help every teacher have a classroom library to encourage reading among students.

West Tennessee Business College is a PIE, or partner in education, with Isaac Lane.

They delivered about three boxes of books to the school.
