Lane College holds convocation; kicks off fall semester

JACKSON, Tenn. — Hundreds of students at Lane College filled the school’s gym Wednesday in east Jackson for the school’s convocation and kickoff for the fall semester.

Students joined in prayer and a scripture reading before hearing motivational words from keynote speaker Dr. Paul Lawrence Brown Sr. who came in for the ceremony from Atlanta.
