Documents confirm South Side coach suspended without pay
JACKSON, Tenn. — Documents from the personnel file of South Side High School’s head football coach confirm that he is suspended without pay.
Brian Moore was suspended effective Wednesday pending investigation into allegations of “inappropriate physical contact of a sexual nature towards a student,” according to a letter from Superintendent Verna Ruffin included in Moore’s personnel file, which WBBJ obtained Thursday morning.
The Jackson Police Department confirmed Wednesday that they are investigating alleged inappropriate contact between a male South Side High School coach and a female student.
However, at this point Moore has not been charged with a crime.
