Police seek to ID person of interest in Lane Avenue shooting
JACKSON, Tenn. — Police are investigating a Wednesday night shooting outside a convenience store on Lane Avenue.
The gunfire was reported just before 10 p.m. Police say no injuries have been reported.
According to a release from the Jackson Police Department, officers responded to Lane Express Mart, located at 369 Lane Avenue, where they found property damaged by the gunfire.
Officers are trying to identify a person of interest they describe as a light-skinned black man with dreads who is around 20 years old and drives a lime-green Dodge Charger, according to the release.
