Kohler announces layoffs at Union City plant
OBION COUNTY, Tenn. — Kohler announced this week that the company will cut more than 100 positions from its shower door plant in Union City.
The layoffs include 40 production positions, four administrative positions and 121 temporary positions, according to a release from the company.
The company cites a reduction in demand as the cause of the job cuts.
The employees have been notified that their last day of employment will be Nov. 5, according to the release.
