Weather Update – 11:00 p.m. Friday

Clear skies tonight are forecast for most of West Tennessee with mild and muggy conditions. Temperatures will drop to the lower and middle 70s by sunrise at 6:35 a.m. Friday morning. Skies will become partly to mostly cloudy at daybreak. We’ll be mainly dry before the rain returns Saturday morning. Get ready for a Fall-like burst of cooler air early next week!

THIS WEEKEND
A cold front will sweep through the area bringing rain our way on Saturday. Locally heavy rainfall and thunderstorms producing frequent lightning will be possible but the risk for severe weather is low. Scattered showers will be possible in the morning with more showers and thunderstorms forming through the later morning into the afternoon along a broken line.

Sunday will be a sunny day with highs in just the upper 70s to lower 80s with low humidity. After cooling down that night, we’ll start out in the lower to middle 50s Monday morning!

NEXT WEEK
Mainly dry conditions and mostly clear skies with low humidity remain in the forecast through Monday and Tuesday. Temperatures will remain relatively cool with less humidity than we have now. A chance for rain returns to the area on Wednesday with a possibility for scattered showers. Stay with the VIPIR 7 Storm Team for the latest updates to the forecast!

Have a wonderful weekend!
