Weather Update – 7:30 a.m. Saturday
A cold front will sweep through the area today bringing scattered showers and thunderstorms. Locally heavy rainfall and thunderstorms producing occasional lightning will be possible. Cooler weather will follow behind the cold front with much less humidity!
TODAY
Scattered showers will be possible in the morning with more showers and thunderstorms forming through the later morning into the afternoon along a broken line. One or two storms could produce damaging winds but the risk for severe weather is low overall and you’re more than likely not going to see a thunderstorm like that today. Temperatures will warm up to the middle and upper 80s early in the afternoon.
TOMORROW
Sunday will be a sunny day with highs in just the upper 70s to lower 80s with low humidity. After cooling down that night, we’ll start out in the lower to middle 50s Monday morning! No rain is expected tomorrow.
NEXT WEEK
Mainly dry conditions and mostly clear skies with low humidity remain in the forecast through Monday and Tuesday. Temperatures will remain relatively cool with less humidity than we have now. A chance for rain returns to the area on Wednesday in a possibility for scattered showers. Stay with the VIPIR 7 Storm Team for the latest updates to the forecast!
Have a wonderful weekend!
