Weather Update – 10:30 p.m. Monday

Skies will remain mostly clear with light winds in place tonight. Temperatures will be about 5-10°F warmer tomorrow morning than they were this morning as they drop to the upper 50s and lower 60s by sunrise at 6:37 a.m. Tuesday. Warmer and more humid weather is in the forecast for most of the workweek with a chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms to return.

TUESDAY
Mainly dry conditions and mostly clear skies are forecast for tomorrow with slightly more humid weather than we had today. There’s a slight possibility for isolated showers and thunderstorms which would be likeliest to occur south of Interstate 40 – especially near Savannah and the Tennessee River. High temperatures could reach the upper 80s and lower 90s tomorrow afternoon.

REST OF THE WORKWEEK
We’ll continue to see a slight chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms on Wednesday. Like Tuesday, the best chance for rain will take place from the later hours of the morning through the afternoon and into the early evening. However, there’s a chance that the rain covers more area on Wednesday.

Drier weather is forecast for Thursday under mostly sunny skies but the chance for rain returns with a cold front coming in Friday and Saturday. Stay with the VIPIR 7 Storm Team for the latest updates to the forecast!

Have a good night!
