Police seek 3 in north Jackson auto break-in
JACKSON, Tenn. — Police seek to identify three people in connection with an auto burglary Saturday afternoon outside a restaurant in north Jackson.
Someone broke into a vehicle around 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot of Jason’s Deli on Stonebridge Boulevard, according to a report from the Jackson Police Department.
Officers say the passenger-side window had been broken and that a purse containing several credit cards was missing.
When the owner canceled the cards, she learned that one of them had been used at the nearby Wal-Mart on Emporium Drive.
Video surveillance footage showed three people buying a TV with one of the stolen credit cards, according to the report.
They also reportedly tried to buy a PlayStation video game console, but the transaction would not process.
They were last seen leaving the store in a newer-model, dark-colored, four-door Dodge Ram pickup truck with chrome wheels, according to the report.
Police describe the suspects as a black man with a slim build, a tall black man with a large build and a black woman with a medium build and shoulder-length hair.
