Dollar General to expand, add 10,000 new jobs

GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. — Goodlettsville-based Dollar General is expanding and reportedly is set to add an estimated 10,000 new jobs.

Dollar General hopes to have nearly 2,000 new stores open by the end of the 2017 fiscal year. Hoping to fill those stores with new employees, the company will host job fairs at more than 600 locations through the end of next week.
