City dedicates day in honor of local musician
ALAMO, Tenn –Today is the start of an annual holiday for one West Tennessee community.
September 17th is now known as Jazzii A day.
The award winning Alamo singer was given the special day for her accomplishments in the music industry.
The singer says she is grateful for the honor.
“Being from Alamo, nobody has ever been inducted into the hall of fame so my city and community wanted to honor me because they were proud of my accomplishments I had received.” said Jazzii Anderson.
Jazzii is a winner of the African-American Chamber of Commerce Ruby Award, R&B Music Hall of Fame Inductee and a TV and radio show host and producer.
