Shooting in East Jackson sends one to hospital

JACKSON, Tenn.– Police are investigating a shooting at Point-O-Woods drive.

According to investigators a 15-year-old was shot in the neck. The teenage victim has been taken to the hospital, listed in critical condition.

Police say it’s unclear how or why the victim was shot. According to officers on scene, the teenager was at a friends house when the shooting happened.

Police said they were not looking for a suspect at this time.
