Accused gunman charged in Lane Avenue shooting

JACKSON, Tenn. — Police have identified the man said to be responsible for a recent shooting on Lane Avenue.

Aggravated assault, reckless endangerment

Kaylen Shomari Smith was officially charged Tuesday morning on charges of reckless endangerment and aggravated assault.

Police say Smith pulled the trigger after an argument that started outside Express Mart on Sept. 7.
