Sheriff holds community meeting in Three Way
THREE WAY, Tenn. — Madison County Sheriff John Mehr held his twenty-first community meeting since taking office, Tuesday evening. It was held in the Three Way community, which sits on the Madison-Gibson County line.
About a dozen residents came out to the fire station to talk one-on-one with the sheriff and hear what he had to say about the state of things in the county.
Many of those in attendance had questions about the proposed new jail as well as ways to improve safety in their community.
The sheriff’s office has not announced a date or location for the next community meeting.
