Drug dog leads officers to $4K in meth at Dresden home
WEAKLEY COUNTY, Tenn. — A search this week at a Dresden home led officers to over $4,000 worth of meth and landed two people in jail.
Lacey Lynn Miles, 32, and Jason Lynn Taylor, 34, both were arrested Tuesday afternoon when officers executed a search warrant at home on Byrd Street.
A drug dog led a deputy to a closet where officers recovered one and three-quarters ounces of meth, according to a release from the Weakley County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies say the meth has a street value of around $4,900.
Miles and Taylor both are charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to resale, possession of hydrocodone and possession of drug paraphernalia.
