Weather Update – 10:30 p.m. Friday

Skies will gradually become clear overnight. Temperatures will start out in the middle to upper 60s again at 6:45 a.m. – sunrise Saturday morning. After a hot and sunny weekend a cold front coming next week will bring more Fall like conditions to the area with highs in the 70s to end September.

THE WEEKEND
High temperatures in the lower and middle 90s under mostly sunny skies will continue into Saturday and Sunday. These temperatures could set new record highs as we continue to go through one of the hottest Septembers on record in Jackson.

NEXT WEEK
There’s still some uncertainty with next week’s forecast. However, the latest data remains consistent with a cool-down next week starting on Monday. Afternoon temperatures in the 70s and morning temperatures in the 50s are looking more and more likely. Showers will be possible between Sunday night and Tuesday morning but the risk for severe weather is low. Stay with the VIPIR 7 Storm Team for the latest updates to this forecast!

Have a wonderful weekend!
