THP warns of possibly dangerous clown sightings

JACKSON,Tenn.– State Troopers put out a warning Saturday afternoon for Tennesseans concerning the possibly dangerous clown sightings reported across the country.

In a Facebook post, the THP says the creepy clowns might be trying to lure children into the woods.

Troopers said these could be child predators looking for an easy target, according to social media posts on Twitter and Facebook.

Parents are advised to keep an eye on children playing outside and report any suspicious sightings by calling 911 or *847 to contact state troopers.
