Worker at Benton Co. Fair charged with stabbing man with screwdriver
BENTON COUNTY, Tenn. — A man is in jail after police say he stabbed another man Thursday afternoon at the Benton County Fair.
Matthew Levi White, 37, is charged with aggravated assault after stabbing a man with a screwdriver around 12:40 p.m. Thursday at the Benton County Fair, according to the Camden Police Department.
Officers say White was a worker at the fair and that the victim was not.
The victim is reportedly still in the hospital.
White is being held in lieu of a $10,000 bond. His first court appearance is set for Oct. 5.
