Afternoon crash in midtown Jackson sends 3 to hospital
JACKSON, Tenn. — A violent crash in midtown Jackson Friday afternoon sends three people to the hospital.
Capt. Charles Douglass with the Jackson Fire Department says it appears one vehicle ran the red light and t-boned the other.
Officials say the car was headed south on North Highland Avenue while the truck was turning west onto Campbell Street.
First responders had to pry the car’s doors open to get people out but say they were all conscious when they went to the hospital.
The crash remains under investigation.
