TN native on “Jeopardy!” game show winning streak

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) – A Chattanooga native is returning to “Jeopardy!” following a 10-day winning streak that has earned him more than $231,000.

jeopardyThe Chattanooga Times Free Press reports (http://bit.ly/2dg0R04 ) Seth Wilson tried four times to get on the popular game show before getting selected as a contestant. Wilson is the 2003 valedictorian for Chattanooga’s Notre Dame High School.

After graduating from Vanderbilt University, Wilson now teaches composition at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas.

Wilson said he was selected for the show in June and taped the string of shows in July. He will be back on the show on Monday. Wilson said he credits the “Jeopardy!” crew for making him feel comfortable and reducing his nervousness.

The game show airs on WBBJ ABC 7 Monday through Friday at eleven a.m.
