Weather Update: 10:30 PM Saturday
It has been a wonderful start to the weekend. With temperatures this morning in the 50s, it made for a brisk start to a warm and breezy afternoon. Current temperatures are in the upper 60s to low 70s which is actually a bit cooler than we should be this time of year. Average for early October is the mid and upper 70s!
Tonight will be another crisp night! Overnight lows looks to drop back into the 50s with clear skies. The air remains very dry and the winds will also lighten up.
Sunday we keep the seasonal, if not just below seasonal, afternoon temperatures again. Highs return into the mid 70s with sunny skies continuing to prevail. Winds won’t be as strong but it does stay nice and dry across the entire region with high pressure in place.
This week, the sunshine doesn’t go anywhere either. Dry conditions keep skies clear with maybe a passing cloud or two this week. Temperatures start to climb back into the low 80s by mid week. Another weak frontal system approaches the region by the end of the workweek but the chance for rain remains minimal.
