Food truck rally benefits area Montessori school

JACKSON, Tenn.- Thursday night, west Jackson was the place to be for a tasty fundraiser that brought out hundreds..

A food truck rally was held at Community Montessori School, where food lovers had a chance to buy and sample delicious food.
Plus celebrity judges, including Vipir 7 Storm Team chief meteorologist Tom Meiners sampled food from each of the food trucks.

Organizers of the event said it is a fun way to raise money.

“I think may be the attendees are kind of overwhelmed by the lines but it’s good for the food trucks, that’s what we wanted we wanted it to be worth their while so it’s been fun,” said Dana Bush, event coordinator.

Food truck vendors paid a fee to enter the rally. Those proceeds go directly to the school
