Jackson-Madison Co. General Hospital looking for volunteers
JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson-Madison County General Hospital is looking for people to “Fall into Volunteering” this season.
The hospital held an informational meeting Thursday evening for those looking for ways to give back to the community.
Those interested can choose from many different departments to serve hospital patients.
Volunteers must be 18 years or older and be willing to commit at least four hours a week.
“[The volunteers] actually probably get more out of it or just as much out of helping others and fulfilling a need that you actually made a difference in someone’s life,” said Donna Williams, volunteer services coordinator.
Those interested are urged to visit the hospital’s website to fill out an application or call (731) 541-6153 for more information.
