Jackson police investigate overnight auto burglaries
JACKSON, Tenn. — Police are asking the public for assistance as they investigate several overnight burglaries of unlocked vehicles on Chapel Ridge Drive.
Officers responded around 2 a.m. Thursday to the 400 block of Chapel Ridge Drive where they say several unlocked vehicles in the parking lot had been entered by a suspect or suspects, according to a release from the Jackson Police Department.
One victim told police a pair of headphones and sunglasses had been taken from his unlocked vehicle.
During the investigation, police talked to several other vehicle owners who said someone had entered their unlocked vehicles but that no items appeared to be missing.
