Weakley Co. man charged with vandalizing, burning his own car
WEAKLEY COUNTY, Tenn. — A man who reported that his car had been vandalized and then burned outside his home has now been charged with setting the fire himself.
Kevin Wayne Fuller, 29, of Sharon reported Sept. 24 that someone had vandalized his car outside his home in the 100 block of Boxx Road.
The next day, a fire was reported at the residence, destroying the car and garage and damaging the home.
Fuller was inside the home with his 2-year-old child at the time of the fire, according to a release from the Weakley County Sheriff’s Department.
Investigators say Fuller failed a polygraph test Oct. 12 and then admitted to committing the vandalism and setting the car on fire.
Fuller is charged with aggravated arson, insurance fraud, filing a false report, and vandalism over $10,000, according to the release.
