Bethel kicks of Homecoming Week with laser tag event
MCKENZIE, Tenn. — It’s Homecoming Week at Bethel University. The school kicked off a week of events, Monday, with laser tag for students and the McKenzie community.
From 7:00 to 11:oo p.m., Bethel hosted the game inside Dishman Gymnasium. The night was free for students with an ID, but open to the public for a $5 charge.
Organizers said they expected 150 people per hour to take part.
“Since we’re a smaller community, we like to bring in opportunities for students who may not be able to experience these things,” said Caleb Butler, Director of Student Activities and Greek Life/Intermurals. “This is one of those things we don’t have around McKenzie so we wanted to bring this to our students.”
Homecoming Week concludes Saturday as the Wildcasts take on Faulkner University. Kick off is at 1:30 p.m.
