2 killed in motorcycle accident in Nashville
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Police in Nashville say two motorcycle riders were killed in an accident along Interstate 440.
The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department says in a news release that 58-year-old Mark Patrick Baker and his wife, 56-year-old Laurie M. Baker, both of Collierville, died in Saturday’s accident.
The statement says the eastbound motorcycle lost control at a bridge that crosses over I-24. Both victims were thrown from the motorcycle. Mark Baker fell onto I-24 below and was run over by a tractor-trailer.
