Girlfriend wanted in Tenn. killing found in South Carolina
SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) – Authorities say a 39-year-old woman wanted in the killing of her boyfriend in a Brentwood, Tennessee, hotel room has been arrested in South Carolina.
Spartanburg County sheriff’s deputies said in a news release that Shannon Richardson was arrested early Monday.
An arrest warrant says Richardson called her father and told him she stabbed Reuben Dunigan several times. Hotel employees found the body Friday morning.
Authorities did not give a reason for the stabbing.
Richardson signed a document agreeing to go back to Tennessee and face charges. It wasn’t known if she had a lawyer.
