Weather Update – 10:45 p.m. Wednesday

Mostly cloudy skies are forecast overnight with some windy conditions at times. As the cold front moves in, a few showers will be possible – especially in northwest Tennessee. Much of West Tennessee will remain dry overnight with only a 20% chance for rain in Jackson. If the rain does end up falling in your area overnight, it’s likely going to be light. Temperatures will drop to just the upper 50s and lower 60s by sunrise.

THURSDAY
Skies will remain partly cloudy into early Thursday with temperatures ultimately warming up to the middle and upper 70s during the afternoon. In other words, tomorrow will still be warm but should be cooler than today. Clouds will eventually break apart making way for some sunshine before the sun sets at 6:05 p.m. Thursday evening.

THIS WEEKEND & HALLOWEEN
High pressure will build into the region bringing clearer skies and more “heat” to end the week and the month! October’s final days will feature highs in the lower to middle 80s with temperatures starting out in the middle to upper 50s in the mornings ahead. Expect a warm day on Halloween with temperatures in the lower to middle 80s during the afternoon, cooling down to just the upper 60s and lower 70s by the evening.
