Halloween food drive benefits students in need
MILAN, Tenn.– A local photography business spent Saturday afternoon raising donations to help school children in need.
Brandy Kemp photography, based in Milan donated time to help support the feeding America backpack program.
The program allows qualifying children to go home with a backpack full of food for the weekend.
Donations raised Saturday will help feed the students in the Milan school district.
In exchange for 10 can goods or a $20.00 donation, families made portraits in their creative Halloween costumes.
“I have children of my own. I see it a lot. It’s just something that we wanted to help out with, “Brandy Kemp said.
