Jackson Generals Ballpark shines blue lights for law enforcement

JACKSON, Tenn. — Organizers of the Jackson-Madison County trunk or treat had a special tribute for law enforcement Saturday night.

The stadium was lit in all blue as the crowd recognized first responders for their service. Kids held up blue glow sticks to show their support for local law enforcement. Local and state leaders also expressed their gratitude.

“They’re the ones that are running into the fires the rescue people, and we want to thank them every single day for the service that they give us,” Senator Ed Jackson said.

After the blue lights covered the stadium, families were able to enjoy a firework presentation to cap off a full day of fun.
