Harriman woman charged in connection to boyfriend’s death
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. — A Harriman woman has been charged in connection to the death of her boyfriend.
Tennessee Bureau of Investigation agents investigated the death of 45-year-old Ellis Hamby, Jr. on Oct. 28, according to a news release sent from the TBI.
The release reported Morgan County deputies found Hamby’s body inside the home on Leslie Drive he shared with his girlfriend, Tonya Baughman.
Preliminary information indicated Hamby died from gunshot wounds.
The investigation led to Baughman as the individual responsible for Hamby’s death, according the the release.
Baughman was charged with one count of voluntary manslaughter and booked into the Morgan County Jail.
