Weather Update – 10:30 p.m. Monday

Skies will remain mostly clear overnight with temperatures bottoming out in the upper 50s to lower 60s by sunrise at 7:18 a.m. Tuesday morning. It’s been a hot last several days after breaking daily record high temperatures 4 days in a row, having the hottest Halloween on record, and the 2nd hottest October on record!  If you’re loving this heat then tomorrow will be great because temperatures could reach the upper 80s! If you like cooler weather, then there’s good news in the forecast this weekend.

TUESDAY
Tomorrow has the potential to be another record warm day with highs in the middle to upper 80s! Jackson has NEVER had a day in November that saw temperatures reach over 84°F so this not only could be a record-breaker but something Jackson’s never experienced in recorded history. Skies will be mostly sunny tomorrow with dry conditions.

REST OF THE WORKWEEK
Skies will be partly cloudy on Wednesday with more hot and dry weather and – yet again – a potential to see record breaking temps. Our next chance for rain returns with a cold front comes in on Thursday. This will bring a chance for rain to the area with scattered showers and thunderstorms possible during the morning and afternoon. After that, cooler weather comes in! We’re currently forecasting a high of 70°F for Friday with temperatures dropping to the lower and middle 40s Friday night. Stay with the VIPIR 7 Storm Team for the latest forecast!

Keep cool and have a wonderful Halloween!
