Weather Update – 10:30 p.m. Tuesday

Skies will remain mostly clear overnight with temperatures dropping to the upper 50s to lower 60s by sunrise at 7:19 a.m. Wednesday morning. Clouds will increase across the sky by early tomorrow. After the hottest day in November Jackson has ever experienced, there’s a potential for more record setting heat tomorrow! A cold front will arrive on Thursday bringing cooler weather and rain back into parts of West Tennessee.

WEDNESDAY
Tomorrow has the potential to be another record warm day with highs in the middle 80s! If we break the record high temperature for that day (83°F – 1987) it will be the 6th day in a row that we’ve set a daily record high temperature in Jackson. Skies will be cloudy at times with breezy conditions.

REST OF THE WORKWEEK
Our next chance for rain returns when a cold front moves into West Tennessee on Thursday. This will bring scattered showers and thunderstorms during the morning and afternoon. Rainfall totals are expected to be less than a quarter of an inch for most areas. While there is a 40% chance for rain, not everyone will get the showers on Thursday.

After that, cooler weather comes in! We’re currently forecasting a high of 67°F on Friday with temperatures dropping to the upper 30s and lower 40s Friday night. Skies will be mainly clear on Friday and Saturday. Stay with the VIPIR 7 Storm Team for the latest forecast!

Have a great night!
