Weather Update – 11:00 p.m. Wednesday
It’ll be another mild night tonight with temperatures bottoming out in the upper 50s to lower 60s by sunrise on Thursday. Skies will be partly cloudy overnight becoming mostly cloudy throughout the morning tomorrow. A cold front arriving tomorrow will bring another chance for rain to the area before we get even colder by the weekend!
THURSDAY
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop from the later hours of the morning through the afternoon and exit West Tennessee early Thursday evening. However, because these storms will be scattered, not everyone in West Tennessee may get rain tomorrow. The thunderstorms are not expected to be severe but we still need to be alert for lightning in the area. Rainfall totals should amount to around if not less than a quarter of an inch of rain.
FRIDAY AND THE WEEKEND
After the cold front leaves the area, conditions will become windy! Gusts up to 20 miles per hour will be possible Thursday evening and on Friday. Cooler weather will return on Friday too with highs in the middle to upper 60s dropping to the upper 30s and lower 40s by sunrise Saturday morning. Skies will be mostly clear over the weekend. Stay with the VIPIR 7 Storm Team for the latest forecast!
Have a good night!
