Group gathers to pray for nation on election eve
JACKSON, Tenn.-Monday night, on election-day eve, one group came together, not to discuss who would be the best candidate to lead the country. Instead, dozens joined together at RIFA’s soup kitchen in downtown Jackson to listen to inspirational singing and to pray for the nation.
Those WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News spoke with said after such a contentious campaign they felt the only answer was to draw on their faith and pray.
