3 murder suspects in Milan shooting appear in court
MILAN, Tenn. — Three men face charges of murder and attempted murder after a Milan man is dead.
Lawrence Douglas, Lillo Harrell and Uel Pearson were arrested last week after the Oct. 11 crime.
Milan police say they responded to a home on Patton Street after a report of gunshots.
The police report said two victims were in bed talking in the back bedroom. The woman was shot in the leg. The male victim, Rontavious McKinley, was found shot in the head and later died at the hospital.
Each of the men entered a not guilty plea.
Police said Lawrence was driving the vehicle and that Pearson and Harrell entered the home to fire the shots. Each will have a preliminary hearing with their attorneys.
Harrell and Pearson are each being held on $1.5 million bond. Douglas is held on $90,000 bond but will have a bond hearing Nov. 23.
