Jackson man accused of attacking woman with machete
JACKSON, Tenn. — Jackson police have arrested a man for allegedly attacking a woman with a machete.
Court documents state that Kaya Summers-Butler approached a woman Friday and swung a machete at her.
After allegedly assaulting her, Summers-Butler went back to his home, put on a bullet-proof vest and returned with two guns, when police arrested him.
Summers-Butler is charged with aggravated assault and unlawful possession of a weapon with intent to go armed.
He was released on $25,000 bond.
