Man charged with attempted murder in Trenton shooting
GIBSON COUNTY, Tenn. — Police have arrested a man on an attempted murder charge in a recent shooting outside a shopping center in Trenton.
Glenn Scott is facing multiple charges in the Nov. 15 shooting at the Davy Crockett Shopping Center that sent one victim to a Memphis hospital with a gunshot wound to the neck, according to the Trenton Police Department.
The victim has since been released.
Scott is charged with attempted first-degree murder, two counts of attempted aggravated assault, and two counts of reckless endangerment, according to police.
Police say they arrested Scott Wednesday with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Service.
Scott was arraigned Wednesday in Trenton Municipal County where the judge issued a $50,000 bond.
He is set to return to court Dec 2. for a preliminary hearing.
