1 injured in early morning shooting in east Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. — Police are investigating an early morning shooting in east Jackson.

Investigators say it happened near Caldwell Place and Ridgemont Drive.

Police say a man showed up at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital around 1 a.m. Wednesday with a gunshot wound.

Officers say his injuries are not life threatening.

Right now, they don’t have a description of a suspect.
