Cloudy Thanksgiving Day

Weather Update: 10:45 AM Thursday

Temps are still steady and holding on to the upper 40s to low 50s. The thick cloud deck isn’t allowing for temps to move a lot. With the sun being blocked it feels a little chilly outside and again temps won’t warm up too much more..

This afternoon highs stay in the mid 50s and unless the clouds start to break, it’ll stay on the cooler side with little to no sunshine. Although it may look gloomy outside, we are expected to keep the rain free weather this afternoon. Later on this evening the cloud deck should start to break up and clear as we head into the late night hours.

Overnight tonight as the clouds start to clear, overnight lows look to drop into the upper 30s. Fog is likely as the cooler air starts to settle in to West Tennessee with the dry air in place.

Tomorrow the skies look to become partly cloudy to mostly clear which will help warm us up a little bit more than Thanksgiving Day. This weekend will be a great time to get out and get those Christmas decoration up as it looks to be a nice and dry long weekend. By Monday the chance for rain returns and we’re looking at a soggy first half of the week.
