Clear Skies, but Temperatures Still Feeling Chilly
Weather Update- 9AM
Clear Skies across West Tennessee this morning. High Pressure built in overnight moving all of the clouds out of the area. Winds are calm and coming out of the north which will give us the potential for fog this morning. Otherwise, it is going to be a clear, crisp morning for all of us.
Skies will remain clear all day long, giving us sunshine all day long and for most of tomorrow. Temperatures will reach up into the upper 50s today and the 60s tomorrow. Later on tomorrow night we will see the chance for rain return. Clouds will begin to build back into West TN around 4 PM with most of the rain occurring after midnight on Sunday.
Beginning Monday, rain will push into West Tennessee around 7 AM, gradually increasing through the day. Expect Monday to be a pretty wet day. The heaviest of the rain will come around the evening hours with the heaviest of it being along I-40 around 9 PM. Then rain will continue until Wednesday. The forecast rain potential is predicting almost 4 inches in areas of Northwest Tennessee. Monday’s downpour is a result of a cold front which means temperatures will also fall, but not dramatically. The rest of the week it is all a result of low pressure over the Mississippi Valley.
Make sure to have an umberella handy at all time during this week! This rain could help to lower the awful drought conditions we have been seeing the last couple of months. Stay with the VIPIR 7 Storm Team to get your latest forecast! I hope everyone has a fantastic week!
