“We found a lot of good deals,” shopper Ryann Scivally said.

“I went to Best Buy and the stores were crowded at Best Buy. I went to Walmart and they were crowded at Walmart,” Shopper Emilio Walls said.

Friday, shoppers hit the stores to take advantage of good deals and to get a head start on the holiday gifts.

“We found really good deals like cameras and perfume at Walmart. Everything is on layaway at Walmart, so that’s a really good deal. Target was really good and we got Nike stuff at Dick’s. It was all cheap and everything today,” Hayle Stansell said.

And those out grabbing those deals might have to grab a little patience as well.

“They were really long in most of the stores. Some of the stores were a little bit better but there were a lot of people in all of the stores,” shopper Grace Ingram said.

“Yesterday during the Black Friday shopping, after Thanksgiving, I saw a lot of people. The JC Penney line was wrapped around the entire store but then when I went to JC Penney and Macy’s today they weren’t as crowded as they were yesterday, so it’s all about timing,” Walls said.

While some are continuing to bargain shop.

“We’re going to the Shoe Carnival next,” Scivally said.

Others are calling it a night.

“We pretty much have what we want because they had very good deals,” Stansell said.
